Membership Information

SANA promotes membership to all nurses regardless of categories of nurses from the government and the private sector. Members will be able to join seminars at a subsidized rate, participate in all activities organised by SANA. SANA also provides sponsorship for members to attend international conferences. Grants can be given to members for research development.

Types of membership available in SANA

Ordinary Member

Open to all trained nurses ( in goverenment or private hospitals / clinics ) who are registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia and work in Sabah Or West Malaysia. Entrance Fee RM6.00 Annual subscription RM60.00.

Life Member

It is open to all ordinary members who pay a subscription fee of RM300.00 in one payment after three (3) years of being an ordinary member with no outstanding payment. (For further information, please refer SANA’s constitutions).

Associate Member

It is open to all Pupil Assistant Nurses, Rural Health Nurses and Student Nurses in training in Sabah. On being accepted as Associate members, they are entitled to all the privileges of ordinary membership except for voting and holding office.
